Menrig the 17th is the latest in the family line of Menrig pirates. A lionblooded of fierce disposition, Menrig makes use of airship technology to augment his sailing ship. Mogs, Mage Knight(Adventurer Level)

Mogs worked his way through his young life as a bartender while learning the art of the hammer and magic from his father. Mogs is best characterized by his incredible toughness and durability. While not fast, he can take a hit solidly.

Level 0 Guide Characters

Setting/Affiliation Name Character Sheet Picture Brief Description
Cyrus Artis Woodhaven Artis Woodhaven (Novice Level) Wildermeet Ranger - A green elf from the Wildermeet region of Ithis. Artis is a master ranger, skilled with all the lauded abilities of the rangers. Not only is he skilled with blade, bow, and herbs, but also with the ways of the court. His form is elegant, his official suit of leather armor is resplendent, and his demeanor is graceful. There have been few negotiations has participated in which he has not successfully closed out. This representative of the Elven nations is a dignitary as well as a capable warrior and hunter.
Cyrus Culver Peterson Culver Peterson (Novice) Wisecracking Animos Rabbit Mechanist - One would not expect much looking at the less than 2-foot long rabbit with a wrench over his shoulder, but he is truly a mechanical genius. Culver’ was born an Animos, intelligent animal, and seeks to prove himself in a world made for those much larger than himself. Culver is a brilliant mind though, and when working on engines for Airships, or in the depths of a siege suit it is often his lack of girth that aids him. Though small he is not without combat prowess, and wields a large wrench much like a regular sized warrior might wield an axe or a mace.
Cyrus Marlena Marlena (Novice) Opportunistic Gnostic Warrior - Marlena did not grow up on the streets, or lose her parents at a young age and get taken in by the monks who trained her No in fact she had a relatively normal childhood. She was raised by poor parents in the city of Belcraft. In her rebellious youth she was quite the pickpocket and learned many hard facts in the slums of the city. She was caught one day by a priest from one of the local churches. Instead of turning her in, or preaching to her about how what she was doing was wrong, the priest told her what she did wrong and how not to get caught next time. With that he left. Intrigued and puzzled she tracked him down and watched him. Eventually he began training her in the arts of the paladanic style of fighting. Though she is slow to catch onto the morals behind her teachings, she is dedicated to helping her mentor in his missions for the church.
Cyrus Tatiana Tatiana (Novice) Uncannily Skilled Whytegaard Gunangel - Tatiana’s cold and commanding presence may be from her heritage as a dragon elf, or they may be from her position as a Whytegaard Gunangel. Not one given to kindness and understanding, Tatiana can be quite the intimidating figure. Her black Gunangel armor and the overly large guns she carries make the final straw in the intimidating presence she gives off. Though one of the newest Gunangels, she has proven herself worthy in just a short time. There are those within the ranks who expect her to become one of the youngest to reach the ranks of the Gungods.
Cyrus Thelonius Thelonius (Novice) Wandering Ogre Teacher - The large and seemingly cumbersome ogre has been around for a significantly long time. His fur is graying, his ears bear the ring holes of many past victories, and his form sags a little with each step. Anger him though, and watch as the might of a great ogre warrior springs to the forefront of his being. Luckily Thelonius prefers the path of peace, and seeks to end any conflict with as little violence as possible. He travels the world now, teaching people and trying to enlighten his fellow brothers amongst all the good races.

Cyrus/Fighters Tournament Saralyne Tamarin Saralyne (Novice)

Saralyne (Adventurer)

Coming from the westlands of Ithis, Saralyne, the red haired wonder is a fearsome foe. Her deft and quick actions and her acrobatic style rival that of most clown fighters we've seen. She uses an incredibly small short bow here so that she can fire quicker. Called a close combat bow she has a deft command of both long and short range. We've been told that her hunting style is more akin to a wolf stalking it's prey than an Ithisian ranger. This completely belies her sweet and innocent seeming personality.
Cyrus/Fighters Tournament Sun Wukong Sun Wukong (Novice)

Sun Wukong (Adventurer)

Sun Wukong fights in the tournament as a representative of the Emperor himself. He is deft and agile and uses the Staff Fighing style of the Southern Province of Kenisho. This large and seemingly cumbersome bear is actually one of the heads of the clownfighting schools. He is not as agile or as quick as most of the other clownfighters, but he uses the arts of distraction and trickery to bring in the crushing blows of his claws.

Original War of Venture Characters

Setting/Affiliation Name Character Sheet Picture Brief Description
Cyrus/War of Venture Lurris Besides his inadvertent creation of the art of summoning, Lurris was a renowned ranger within the armies of Wildermeet. He traveled to Clave with a contingency during the Imperial war and was rated eagle in accuracy amongst the Elven rangers. He is one of only 13 to have obtained this rating.
Cyrus/War of Venture Ronsha Ronsha Firepaws (Novice Level) One of the heroes of the war of Venture, Ronsha Firepwas has gone on to become a well known alchemist and mage. His mastery of rituals has led him to create many utilitarian spells that get traded and taught throughout the land of Pero. Ronsha retired to a quiet life after the war of venture, and lived peacefully with his clan until his later years. He fought off a small army of Orcs to secure safe passage for his people away from an erupting volcano.
Cyrus/War of Venture J'yre The feychylde J'yre joined the Heroes of Venture not out of a desire to help the world but to avenge the deaths it caused amongst the feychyldren. J'yres Kyozin armor was modified by this desire when it reformed around her arm. When fully formed it contained a vicious dart mechanism with a potent neurotoxin. J'yre was also a well known herbalist and wrote many descriptions of rare and potent herbs which she encountered on her journeys.
Cyrus/War of Venture Sanjuro Sanjuro was a disgrace and a glory to the Aruna. Rebellious and contemptuous, he was also one of the strongest and most capable of the Aruna warriors. Sent on a mission to the land of Ithis to hunt down leads on some magical artifacts, he joined up with the Heroes of Venture and made little effort to come back to Elysium. Later when he was able to acquire the Masamune, he stole away from the remaining group and attacked the Aruna. Taking out all the guards, guards imperius and the council, he claimed rulership of the entire Aruna clan. He was eventually stopped by Heitaro, when he attacked the imperial city of clave. Sanjuro was killed and the Masamune reclaimed. It is said now to reside in the Imperial palace. Sanjuro was taken by the Aruna, and Heitaro was made emperor by the council of Daimyo.
Cyrus/War of Venture Corvis Corvis Del Mar holds a sketchy title as one of the heroes of the war of venture. Corvis was said to have been embroiled in the plots of Sharum Nahar from his youngest days. Records on his life are mysteriously absent, but this can be attributed to the fact that he grew up in the farmlands outside of venture, and thus all records were destroyed when the floating island fell onto the city. Corvis was known to have some innate magical powers long before he ever acquired his Kyozin armor. One such ability Corvis was rumored to posses was the ability to turn into mist during times of danger. This ability has been seen in some fey creatures as well as within demon bred Vampyres.
Cyrus/War of Venture Braknor Braknor is a large ogre, noted for his abhorrence to metal. He always carries a large stone club which seems to large for even his frame. Braknor wears a whitish armor made out a tanned leather. The type of leather is unknown but some say it is Wyvern skin. Braknor communicates to non ogres by a series of sign language and grunts. He lead the ogre revolution to bring ogre society back to nature and his lineage is well respected within the Ogre lands.
Cyrus/War of Venture Des Vedannnya Ved, as the other heroes called him, was a fine blacksmith and warrior in the Icelands before he traveled to Rumi. He bore a giant warhammer and became quite adept at using steel attuning magics once he acquired one of the Kyozin armors. Ved later became famous for leading a design revolution within the Icenglades. Ved was said to have lost his thumb to the Masamune at one point, but made use of a steel spell to replace it. He is known in some circles as Steel Thumbed Ved.
