Chrysaor is a gigantic golden sword made partially of adamant. Chrysaor is huge; a 6 foot man would hold one part of the handle just below the guard and place his other hand 3 feet away at the middle part of the handle to be able to wield it. Chrysaor has been wielded by siege suits mostly, or by ogres who can use it with some awkwardness. The secret of Chrysaor is a spell that only the faerie are said to know. If a person can learn the spell from the faerie and has a pure heart they are said to be able to wield it effortlessly.
The person who knows this spell is also able to invoke the second magic of the sword and grow to the size of a giant. The sword does not grow with him but grants its power to the user.
The last tale of Chrysaor was that it was taken by a Bladesinger from Whytegard to some land outside of Ithis. The Bladesinger returned without the sword, saying he had progressed beyond the need of it. It has not been seen since.
