Long ago it is said that the dwarves built large stone beings to aid us and keep us safe from monsters. These large G’lem came to be known as Golems. The Dwarves were kind to us and always have been. They can’t come protect us now though. They said they were engaged in war with the Giants. I think I can help though. See I found this stone in granddads trunk. Now he once told me he’s been keeping it since his granddad had it, and his granddad had it from his granddad. I think maybe the statue in the center of town is a golem. It’s big enough and it’s not like the statue is of anybody. Granddad used to say that the Golems just needed a little heat in the right spot. Feel the stone. See how hot it is. I think if I put this into where his heart should be then maybe just maybe we can wake up the golem and it can fight off the Wargs for us. C’mon it’s at least worth a try. But I don’t want to freak out mom and dad so I’m sneaking out tonight. That’s why I need you to keep watch. Ok. Can you do that billy?
