Myrrh
When the Animalia fled the crash of their largest floating continent they traveled to many places. A few ships traveled to Ithis seeking to help the races enslaved their by the Godelves. Some found sanctuary on other floating Islands and continents. Soon the floating lands of the Animalia became crowded and unable to bear much more. Fearing more crashes they looked for other lands safe from the Godelves. They found suitable forests on Pero, lands which were far enough from the crash site that they only sustained minor damage. They colonized here and created two cities. One Drisst is open to the races and serves as a center of trade and education. The other Myrrh is a safe haven for the Animalia.
No race other than Animalia is ever allowed here. NO RACE. No race can even approach close enough save an Animalia. In the forest surrounding it is what is known as the White Line. Each tree bears a line around it, a circle of white in paint, rope, leaves or other artifact. Those who venture past the white line find themselves removed either peaceably or not. Stories abound of those who traversed past it and found themselves lost only to come out on the other side or in the desert. Some people tell of the great monsters and beasts they encountered, some even claim to have seen celestials, who forced them out or devoured comrades while the storytellers barely escaped.
Drisst
Drisst is full of nature based architecture and buildings created high within the trees. There the Animalia live in relative peace. They have no standing army nor a town guard. They are governed by a council of elders and hold very close ties with Myrrh. They follow their code of morals and strictly enforce it but do not have many formal laws. While many might say there is little in the way of civilization here it must be pointed out that Drisst and Myrrh have never experienced famine or drought. They do not participate in wars nor bear the troubles of politics or crime. Should something occur which they feel they must deal with they do so as a community. Political squabbles remain outside the cities and while commerce is practiced with the standardized money system no one considers that they own the land and thus no one is regarded as homeless. Should someone be in need the other Animalia come to his or her aid. Disputes are settled by the parties they involve.
