Description
Frederick was one of 13 of his brood. The one rabbit animalia in his clan to be given over to books and learning frederick originally grew up in Drist and later took to travelling with his brothers and sisters as they took minstrel and caravan guard positions. Frederick had always had his nose buried in books until he became lost from his caravan one day. He survived on his own in the forest of blue trees before he was rescued by some passing whytegaard knights. Frederick joined up with whytegaard and became a gnostic monk studying rituals and ancient magics. Frederick was also the butt of many jokes by other capricious monks. Signs reading "All hairs on the head must be shaven" were told to be taken literally. Frederick later left the monkhood and set up a small shop in the dwarven town of judarin. He traded and bought books brought in by sailors and ancient books found by dwarven miners. Frederick was swept up into the war of venture due to the specialized knowledge he had gained at whytegaard and through his immense intellectual abilities.
History/Story
Fredericks true story starts after the War of Venture. During the final engagement against the forces attempting to release magic for ill purposes the heroes were forced to make a sacrifice to release magic to everyone. Frederick willingly stepped into the final position and released magic for all to have. In order to free him lurris maligned a summoning spell and turned frederick into a powerful summon. Now frederick lives as a spirit summon bound to a token. Each time he is summoned he remains under the guardianship of the summoner who summoned him for a full year. They travel based on what and where Frederick wishes to go and frederick continues chronicalling new information about the world of Cyrus. This often happens much to the chagrin of the summoners as Frederick has no fear of death. Should he be killed he merely becomes a token and gets resummoned.
