Episode, The Fifth

• Garlkwik and Kelas leave the island, sliding around a storm but just barely making it. They see a Zhong Ghi gunboat caught in the storm.
• The Gunboat was destroeyd and washed up on ground. Kelas and Garlkwik, find a survivor. He tries to tell of something, and mentions that “he knows where the yellow is hidden”. He points to his throat which is bleeding the more he speaks. He points to his eye and says “t t t tooo s s s ssea hag” and rips out his eye, dying as his blood flows freely.
• Garlkwik takes the eye, and puts it into a bag, and they sail on.
• A great bout of waves and a storm rides through again and destroys their masts as they barely outrun it. Garlkwik sees a great scaly back in the water, and a eye which is 3 times his size. Kelas takes them back slowly with water. After 7 days without food or clean water (as supplies were washed out) all were delirious. The woke to being picked up by destroyers,with Rheanna head of the 3rd division bloody gulls. After deciding they were too pathetic to be pirates they took them back to the "stable"
• Minerva was repaired and ready at this time. Garlkwik and Bixby went to
• Kelas slips off in the middle of the night, leaving a letter for bixby.
• Bixby suggests that in order to find information on who or what this "sea hag" is, they go "walk to a local bar down by the docks, mention as they walk in they need information about the Sea Hag, wait as the bar goes dead and all the patrons stare at us in horror, then the one crochety old man walks up and gives us information about it but warns us not to go for fear of our lives."
• An hour later, standing in a bar where all the patrons stare at them aghast, one crochety old man walks up, arrgggh. They get their info and are then thrown out of the bar.
• On the way to sea hags island they feel some hard pull on the rudder, and some kthunking coming from it. Garlkwik riding ahead in the repaired flying wasp is trying to outrun the Minerva. With the rudder problems the Minerva rams the Flying wasp, and entagles it on it's beam. The rudder problems swims away from it's examination of the rudder, and swimming in the water lifts the Wasp off of the Minerva's beam. They all meet a strange creature, an Icthios. He seems to be a squiddish creature, with incredible strength.
• Garlkwik compared the squid thing to the sea monster he saw before "they don’t stay small and cute forever”, when he met Targus, targurs's only response was “I’m eating him later”, thus Sonias was introduced to the group.
• They make it to the Sea hags hut. She is quite ugly, yet kind and gives them a nice tea. She agrees to find out what the man wanted garlkwik to find out. She eats the eye, and sees the things the dying man saw. She sees the island where destroyers were taking boxes, the people were dressed in dark clothing. There are many small coves, she tells them where the island is, and also the rumours of big snakes there.
• Garlkwik then began making fun of the hag, and she turned a small tear flowing down her wrinkled cheeks. He then compared the tear falling to a game of plinko
• They sailed on for the next two days, avoiding ships along the way, narrowly missing some Paschal Gunboats, and widely missing Zhong Ghi Pirates. When they stopped for the night, Sonias slept in a bucket, which Garlkwik tended to use as the ships "facilities". Once Bixby was wakened to take the helm at night, and Garlkwik attempted to steal his bed. He tried to pick the lock, but unsuccessfully. When he was unable to secure the comfy bed, he threw the monkey Targus out of his bed, even though there were other hammocks available. They eventually came to the island.
• Choosing from one of 4 coves on the eastern side of the Island they proceeded into the one with a man sized cave opening. They traversed the passages until Sonias heard some movement ahead. He motioned for them to stop, and not understanding him Bixby and Garlkwik began dancing. The four Black Terns who came upon them were quite surprised to find a dancing orc and goblin, and were unprepared when Garlkwik sent a burning wind their way. Sonias took out two of them by using one as a club, bixby took one with his Kusarigama, and Garlkwik lunged at the final one. All were dispatched quickly in FRM style.
• They travelled through the cave system, exploring holes. They found a set of grave alcoves with skulls. Seeming to be a revered place they left it. Sonias dove into some water tunnels, and found an eel which attempted to eat him. He impaled it on his harpoon spear, and ate it raw. Speaking with a slightly disgusted Bixby and Garlkwik, mouth tentacles flying over the eel on a stick, he decided Bixby who owned two ships, the Minerva and the Flying Wasp, would actually be a commadore. Bixby liked this idea, although Garlkwik didn't. Garlkwik saw himself as the captain of the Flying Wasp, and didn't take kindly to this. However Bixby now goes by the title of Commadore.
• They went even deeper into the cave and saw shadows ahead. Garlkwik had Sonias use his incredible strength to throw a barrel of "lantern oil" at the ceiling. The ceiling exploded with incredible light, and crushed most of the terns up ahead. They quickly "skiwked" the remaining ones. (So called for sound of their deaths.)
• They travel along even further and find crates full of yellow cloth. Eventually, with a little GM prompting, they discover the false bottoms of the crates and find gold. 12 Black Terns come upon them, and after a short debate as to whether to fight and get more gold (which they discover bear markings of Anacandran coins, or run and ensure that they can preserve their lives, they run right out ala Benny Hill.
• Being that their enemies were fundamentally close to ninjas, it was mostly assured that, on this auspicious day, they would have little issue with their battles.
